Questions and Answers for RK Black Managed Printers
Q. How does a person know that a printer is managed by RK Black?
A. There will be a sticker on the front of the device that says RK Black with a device number and RK Black's phone number
Q. What if a printer is out of paper?
Q. How can a person request more paper?
A. Send an email to RequestPaper@okcu.edu and provide the device number (from the front of the Printer) and location of the printer needing paper.
Q. Who changes the toner in this Sharp MX 4701 Multi-Function Printer?
A. This responsibility falls on anyone using the printer when it runs out of ink.
1. When the printer is out of toner, the red light on the control panel flashes.
2. The printer will provide prompts on the screen for the steps to follow to replace the toner.
3. Open the printer’s front door and see which toner cartridge has been ejected. That will be the empty cartridge – remove the cartridge.
4. Find the new toner cartridges that are on hand (See also: Where is the Toner?)
5. Remove cartridge from the box – insert it into the printer – close the door and the printer will recognize the new cartridge.
6. The printer will come alive while it is accessing the new toner.
7. Any print jobs that have not been canceled will now be printed.
Q. Where is the toner for the printer?
A. If the toner is not visible in the immediate area of the printer, typically a building manager/Dean's Office will know where these are kept.

Q. Who orders the Toner or Waste trays?
A. This responsibility falls on anyone using the printer when it runs out of ink.
Call (800) 364-1890 and use ID# 32553 to order supplies; you will need the device number from the machine that you are accessing.
Q. What do I do when the card reader or printer is not working?
A. Contact RK Black to report the issue.
