Email header – “quarantine@ess.barracudanetworks.com” is the ONLY sender for OCU quarantine email. If you received a notice from any other sender, including senders you may know, it is not legitimate. Report it to IsItLegit@okcu.edu, then delete it immediately.

List of quarantined email. The body of the text notes how many have been quarantined, with the list below.

Manage Quarantine takes you to a settings page where you can schedule when you want to receive notifications of quarantined email. (Quick Reference Guide on settings will be available soon.)

View Message Log takes you to a list view, with options. You can search within the log for a particular email, you can also delete quarantined email, or submit it to be delivered and/or whitelisted (these are #5). Note: You do not need to view the log to deliver or whitelist directly from the notification email. Use the message log to search and delete quarantined email. (Quick Reference Guide on the Message Log will be available soon.)

Deliver – use this option if you want to have the quarantined email delivered to your Inbox.
Whitelist – use this option if you want to have the quarantined email delivered to your Inbox AND you want the sender to be “whitelisted,” meaning, emails from the sender will always be sent to your Inbox from this point. Note: If you take no action, quarantined email will remain for 30 days, then be purged.
